The second phase of the Karakorum Highway (Haveliān to Takot section) is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan.
This project is implemented by China Communications Construction Co.,
Ltd. The total length of the highway is 118.124 kilometers, including
39.305 kilometers of expressways and 78.819 kilometers of secondary
roads. The project mainly adopts Chinese standard design and
construction. The main structures include 105 bridges, 11 flyovers, 464
culverts and 40 passages. There are 6 tunnels, 2 service areas, 3 tunnel
management stations, ect.
